Jeep Foglight Bumper Mount
Jeep Foglight Bumper Mount: We made this prototype of these headlight flanges for a friend’s jeep bumper. He had a list of specific needs that just could not be met by an existing product, so we got together and designed the perfect solution. It was designed in AutoCAD, exported to Partworks, and cut out on the Shopbot CNC Router at the Columbus Idea Foundry.
The parts are made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). It’s the same material that the red plastic gas cans are made out of, among many other things. It machines excellently and is great for applications where durability is important. We use it quite often in the fabrication of exhibits, especially for children.
